Grimes Public Library offers the following reading challenges for children and teens online and in-person.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Read one thousand books (any book, or the same book over and over) before your child’s first day of Kindergarten to earn free stickers, books, and their picture in Grimes Living! Track your progress online or with a 1,000 Books folder available at Grimes Public Library.
LevelUP Beginning Reader Challenge
Read 10 books from our READER (beginning reader) collections to earn your own beginning reader book to keep! Track your progress online or on a LevelUP punchcard available at the library.
