American Girl Reading Challenge
Complete one activity in each of the four American Girl categories by April 30th to be automatically entered into a raffle to win your very own doll and accessories! (Prize doll and accessories are NOT American Girl.) Reading challenge is for kids aged 5-12 and self paced through grimes.beanstack.org.
Grab and Go
Grab and Go activities are for everyone! April’s Grab & Go Kit is Batik Zipper Pouches. Stop by the Library to pick up your kit. Available starting April 1st while supplies last.
April Arts
Join us virtually each week as we take a closer look at different mediums of art: poetry, film, music, and photography. Activities are geared toward teens and adults and will be posted on the website, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Spring into Saturdays
Join us virtually on Saturdays as we get creative with Spring themed art projects, crafts, and experiments for the family! Activities will be posted on the website, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Virtual Story Grooves

Artful April
Each week kids can learn a new art technique and create a mini masterpiece! Stop by the library each Friday for your craft kit while supplies last and check out our Pinterest Board for instructions and additional ideas.
Adult Book Club
This book club is for ages 18+ and meets the first Tuesday evening of every month. April’s title is She has Her Mother’s Laugh by Carl Zimmer. Multiple copies available at the library, stay tuned for meeting location.
Tutoring
This free tutoring service for kids and teens is offered Wednesdays from 5-7pm via Zoom or phone! Registration is required.
Growing the Good Life
It’s time for herbs and flowers! Brighten up your patio with a flower/herb planter. The planter will be lined with natural materials to help with drainage and support the plant. Program for 18+. Registration required.
