Warm Wishes

Help us spread some holiday cheer! Drop off new blankets and holiday cards to Grimes Public Library by Dec. 11th to be delivered to the seniors of Kennybrook Village and Grimes Senior Meal Site.

Grab and Go

The Gingerbread House Workshop is back this year as a Grab and Go! Stop by the Library to pick up our DIY Kit the first 3 Saturdays in December. No registration. Available while supplies last.

Story Grooves

Get ready to groove! Join us for our live virtual story time series Mondays at 6:30pm. Zoom Link. Register once for weekly email reminders. 

DIY December Gifts

Join us each Tuesday during December as we learn how to create handmade gifts from the heart! Most gifts can be made from everyday objects found around the house. The library will supply the rest, while supplies last! Check out our Pinterest Board for additional instructions and ideas.

Family Reading Group

Each month we introduce and discuss one popular book series the whole family can enjoy. December’s series is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Check in each Wednesday for discussion questions and fun activities for the whole family.

Tutoring

This free tutoring service is offered Wednesdays from 5-7pm via Zoom. Registration is required. Call the Library for additional information.

Family Recipe Share

It’s that time of year when we all turn to those tried and true family recipes. Join us each Thursday as we share our favorite family recipes and the stories behind them.

Winter Wonderland

Join us virtually this Winter on Saturdays as we get creative with new art projects, crafts, and experiments! Check out our Pinterest Winter Wonderland Board for more ideas!
