All children experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. Our goal is to combat those losses by providing educational opportunities to keep children reading and learning outside of the school year.

The generosity of our sponsors allows us to do this! Thanks to their donations, we will be able to offer incentives to motivate even the most reluctant reader to reach his or her reading goals. We will also be able to bring in great educators and resources from the area, such as Blank Park Zoo and the Science Center of Iowa to provide STEM-based programming free of charge to the community!
